second off, who did you say wants to rip off thier customers? isnt it apple thats selling their low quality shitboxes and slim ass toys (and theyre not computers, macbook air isnt practical, its just something to show off and play with; i mean come on it doesnt even have a disc drive! you need a seperate usb disc drive to watch dvd’s or really do anything!!) for like thousands of dollars? arent they the ones who sell music for a dollar a song and expect everyone to have like 10,000 songs with ipods that have 160gb? all pc’s regularly cost somewhere between $500-1000 dollars- you show me a mac that costs less than $750, and ill hand you $20 via paypal. or even $1200 for that matter

and get this, the reason mac’s cost so much isnt because theyre superior, its because they trademarked their design and they dont let anyone else make a laptop that runs an apple OS. so basicly they cornered the mac market. if you want an apple OS, you need to buy your computer directly from apple, and they can jack up the prices as high as they want.

I have been doing visual design for two and three dimensional product
for over 30 years. In 1990 I made a choice between Adobe and PC based
software and hardware because of functionality and cost effectiveness.
PC won out. PC is more cost effective and you can do MORE handsome
design work on a PC MORE EFFICIENTLY.
I am so SICK of the prima donnas who have their blinders WELDED onto
the sides of their heads. Part of this is because the funding for
MAC and Adobe products must be very efficient from the Mac and
Adobe companies to the colleges and universities that are training
future professionals in visual design. Students graduating from
universities that have their equipment heavily discounted/donated
by the Mac/Adobe camps and don’t want to learn more software and hardware
after they graduate because they have already invested well over 4 years
and upwards of 15,000 dollars to learn this software and hardware.

When I show a potential client the work I do (I don’t tell them I do
most of it with PC based software and hardware) the potential clients
are very excited and relieved to know that the speeds at which I
accomplish this are within their budgets.

If the Adobe/Mac camp doesn’t think I gave it a fair airing, they need
to know that I have spent over 20,000 dollars on MAC/Adobe stuff and still
would rather go PC with PC based software whenever possible.

I am not wild about Vista yet I will take Vista and PC based software
over Adobe products & Macs ANY DAY. Perhaps I will change my mind some
time… I don’t think so in the near future, though.

The one factor that is MADDENING TO ME, though, is that the Microsoft camp
must be hiring Mac based programmers to do their design because stuff
is starting to look contaminated with MAC functioning/motifs.

HEY, MICROSOFT!!! Skip the Mac imitations… The people out there using
PC want PC not MAC, NOT ADOBE. Thank you very much!
